The 2010 Brooks Brighton 10K was won by Sean Connelly (Ireland) in a personal-best time of 29:19 from last years race Winner Chris Davies of Telford. Conditions were excellent for the 10K with little wind, and fairly mild temperatures for the time of year.

In a very strong Womens race the course record was broken by the first two finishers with Louise Damen coming home in 33:14 from Bedford's Liz Yelling. The first Sussex runners to finish were Neil Boniface (Horsham Joggers) and Arena 80's Julie Briggs.
